We are seeking a Hydrologist to support project managers on all aspects of surface water and groundwater analysis, project planning, and other data collection. While working closely with our Project Engineering team, you will use your experience to provide expertise in the development of hydrogeologic conceptual models, field work, groundwater modeling, data interpretation and analysis, GIS spatial analysis and report writing. We are interested in someone who is passionate, motivated, and has a strong desire to research, learn, teach, and grow as a professional.
- Conducting scientific hydrogeological investigations to ensure that accurate and appropriate information is available for use in water resource management decisions; specifically, statutorily required model simulations, development of groundwater models, water budget analysis, model-related data evaluations, and documentation of related activities.
- Studying and documents quantities, distribution, disposition, and development of groundwater and surface waters in support of groundwater modeling.
- Maintaining and preparing records and reports and presents technical evaluations and plans.

REQUIREMENTS
- BA or BS degree in hydrology or related field
- Previous hydrology-related experience in a professional position located in California
- Experience with water quality evaluations and modeling is desired
- GIS experience is a plus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality written reports and verbal presentations
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and coordinate/ follow-up with multiple priorities, while managing time effectively and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work with a high degree of problem solving and personal accountability

- This position is located in our Clovis office and requires occasional field work and travel throughout California.
