The Graphic Designer works with the Marketing and Communications team, under the supervision of the Senior Graphic Designer, to conceptualize and deliver print and digital marketing and communications materials, consistent with the College's established brand standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, design, prepare and produce graphics for production, web applications, printing, and special projects under the guidance of the Senior Graphic Designer.
• Design and update marketing materials including; advertisements, infographics, brochures, signage, direct mail, social media, promotional products, presentations, logos, and invitations using the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team during all stages of the process including research and development, brainstorming, concept development, design execution, and pre-press production.
• Play an integral role in maintaining the visual brand integrity of the College.
• Maintain and update templates as needed.
• Work collaboratively with Digital Media Producer and UI/UX Web Programmer on animation projects.
• Assist in photography shoots, especially those related to marketing collateral.
• Prioritize multiple projects and deliver high-quality designs on-time under tight and frequent deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in design or an art-related major.
• At least 2 years of experience, inclusive of internships, in graphic design, print and digital media, marketing or related design field.
• Thorough knowledge of Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, proficiency in Adobe Animate, and working knowledge of After Effects.
• Thorough knowledge of setting up files for print production and working with production vendors to ensure jobs are produced properly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the senior designer and other members of the marketing team.
• Animation skills are preferred in order to work with the Digital Media Producer and UI/UX Web Programmer on web and video projects.
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
