Global Harvest Foods is a leading National Wild Bird, Caged Bird and small Critter/Pet food manufacturer with a 35-year history of delighting customers with our products.

We are a mature but growing company headquartered in Seattle, WA and currently have an outstanding opportunity for an individual to join our team in Akron, CO as a Grain Supervisor. This position will be responsible for all receiving functions to ensure that all products are received accurately and timely and ensure all necessary tests and checks are performed as prescribed in the SOP. This position will have 6 direct reports.

The primary tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Ensures that all trucks and/or railcars are correctly received at the facility
• Accurately and completely processes all paperwork for inbound trucks and railcars
• Quality control – ensures that all products are received in good condition
• Maintains accurate database records.
• Maintains a neat and clean warehouse and receiving area.
• Conduct general safety and sanitation practices
• At-Large member of the facilities safety committee.
• Assist in inventory of bulk ingredients

Food Safety Responsibilities

• Ensure that all ingredients appear to be free from contamination.
• Ensure the proper specifications are met with each product.
• Follow appropriate procedures for cleaning the rail cars.

Pay: $53,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
