Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Grader- 2nd Shift in Thomaston, Géorgie.

What You'll Do

• Complete daily checklist/PMs sheet communication must be clear to repair any Problems with equipment.
  
• Must clean and maintain assigned work area.
  
• Perform any and all duties in a safe manner in ensure no injuries to oneself or anyone else.
  
• Learn, comprehend, and apply basic grading rules.
  
• Must turn lumber to grade and apply all grading rules.
  
• Must work as a team.
  
• Must have good attendance.
  
• Must be a SPIB certified grader.
  
• Must maintain no more than 5% average below grade.
  
• Adhere to all procedures specified in the job safety analysis to prevent any injuries.
  
• Anytime a situation occurs which you feel you do not know how to handle properly and safety, Stop! Go to the crewleader and ask for proper instruction without any hesitation.
  
• Perform any other task deemed necessary by the superintendent/crewleader.
  
• Observe all procedures specified in the job safety analysis to prevent any injuries.
  
• Physical Requirements: Repetitive movement with hands and lifting (Up to 50 lbs).

What You Offer

• Must be a certified grader.
• 2-3 years in lumber operations.
  
• Must be able to use a tape measure and work simple fractions.
  
• High School education or GED equivalent preferred.
