Coordinate and assist with the integration of data using GIS based mapping tools, specializing in data reconciliation using specific GIS software and technologies in support of multiple departments at Midco. Coordinate workflow from GIS to staff at corporate and regional sites. Your work will contribute to the deployment of innovative technology to both internal and external customers.

Coordinate and assist with the integration of data using GIS based mapping tools, specializing in data reconciliation using specific GIS software and technologies in support of multiple departments at Midco. Coordinate workflow from GIS to staff at corporate and regional sites. Your work will contribute to the deployment of innovative technology to both internal and external customers.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Support new services and technologies using GIS based software applications.
- Execute established operations for quality assurance.
- Collaborate among field personnel, in-house design team, and design contractors.
- Interpret redline drawings and information from field personnel
- Ensure synchronization between billing system data and GIS.
- Ensure network path reliability.
- Perform attribute changes/edits to GIS data.
- Perform established operations using internal processes by collecting and entering data into GIS.
- Ensure accuracy of maps, data, and cartographic outputs.
- Perform simple network design functions.
- Support all phases of the project’s life cycle.
- Coordinate activities and workflow to appropriate personnel.
- Provide weekly, monthly and annual reports as necessary.
- Support project design schedules, meetings and resources effectively.
- Document project activity, communication, expectations, schedules and progress.
- Must be willing to learn new emerging GIS technologies.
- Must be willing to train Corporate and Regional personnel on new GIS technology and process/procedures.
- Availability to occasionally travel across Midco’s footprint or to conferences outside of the footprint.
- Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.
- Maintain regular attendance and to arrive to work on time as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Degree or certificate program completed in GIS technologies, or other related GIS experience is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the GIS field is required.
- Experience with ESRI and ArcGIS software solutions and applications is required.
- Experience with GIS principles and methodologies is required.
- Working knowledge of fiber, HFC, and fixed wireless systems is preferred.
- A solid understanding of fundamental GIS principles and methodologies is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
- Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
