Production worker raw

Week 1&2 lift 60 pounds of Salami over your head 400 times per day, while climbing a ladder (tough sell I get it) 2-3 days per week

Week 3 & 4 load a 60 pound frozen meat block into a grinder 100 times per day for 2-3 days per week.

Week 5&6 Operate a grinder, no lifting, need to understand basic math, take temperature with thermometer, record data 2-3 days per week

Week 7&8 Operate a Mixer, roll buggies around, minimal lifting. Need to follow a step by step process for adding ingredients. Need attention to detail, record data including temps. 2-3 days per week

Week 9&10 Operate a clipper, pull down on a handle 2,000-3,000 times per day 2-3 days per week. Also learn to make spice kits 1-2 days per week.

It’s a full work week, the off days the candidate will be loading a rollstock machine or helping label.

The next two roles are the same and will switch:

labeling, learning to operate the labeler 2-3 days per week.

Help load roll stock on none labeling days

Bring bars down off rack, at this point the bars weight about 40 pounds

Using a knife in one hand cut glove in the other to strip casings

Shift is from 6:30 or 7 to 3:30 or 4 daily, unpaid lunch, two paid 15 minute breaks M-F

Some OT, down the road, but for now 0-3 hours per week

Machine Operator, Heavy Lifting, Cold wet environment.
