- Loading and unloading van trailers and railcars utilizing a forklift
- Handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Selecting, palletizing, and shrink wrapping products for shipments
- Staging orders for outbound deliveries
- Maintain a clean and professional work area - Daily sweeping and powered floor sweeper operation
- Assist with inventory management - performing inventory counts
- Assist with light maintenance work
- Willing to train the right fit
- Ability to perform work safely and productively
- Can accurately fill out all necessary paperwork
- Read, write, and understand English
- Knowledge of Fundamentals of Customer Service
- Ability to “think ahead” and anticipate needs of Customers and Team Members
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, research, and general administration
- Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- Physically able to climb up and down rail cars/ladders safely
- Willing to receive general safety training
- Occasional work outside in ALL weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps)
