PTCAlliance, a premier steel tubing and chrome plating manufacturer is accepting resumes and will be interviewing for general production positions. The successful candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates will be expected to work 10 hour shifts, day or night, and weekends during busy production periods. Operators are responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of processing equipment (such as grinders, plating line, polishers, induction hardeners, saws, CNC mill). You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently producing products to customer requirements and standards provided on the work order. Additionally, you will need to complete all equipment safety checks before use of the machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as they relate to the production and company's objective is required.
This position is responsible for maintaining production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.
Receives instructions and assignments from plant supervision as required.
Observes the chrome plating process and progressively adjusts and associated equipment as required with minimal scrap/waste.
Operates mill components using manual and automatic controls on control panel.
Performs and records all QA check measurements required by the Quality Manual on product being produced.
Produce quality product to meet output cost standards. If output cost standards not achieved, provide root causes of mill process inefficiency to plant manager for corrective action.
Records production and keeps work area clean.
Performs other related work as directed by plant supervision.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Prior experience working in manufacturing preferred
• 2 to 5 years hands-on experience with operating manufacturing equipment is a plus
