General Labor/Assembly Job at Miller Brother Staffing
Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking dedicated and reliable candidates for a 1st shift General Labor/Assembly position with an Erie, PA based company. This is a 1st shift position with a pay rate starting at $15/hour.
***Candidates must pass a drug screen and be open to a criminal background check***
General Labor/Assembly
Pay Rate: $15-15.50/hour
Shift: 6:00 AM-4:30 PM Mon-Thurs
Duties
- Operate machinery and hand tools to assist in the production process
- Operate hand grinders and grinding wheel to execute grinding on welded joints and other surfaces
- Assemble materials and equipment as required
- Assist in the loading and unloading raw materials onto trucks
- Package completed parts
- Load completed parts onto pallets in preparation for shipment
- Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to the Plant Safety Program and safety protocols
- For this position, it is required to be able to lift 49 pounds
- There can be repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling of up to 49 pounds
- In addition, this position requires the following abilities: standing, walking, lifting, reaching above shoulders, bending and twisting
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure-REQUIRED
- Good eye/hand coordination and finger dexterity
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Assembly and production experience
- Strong work ethic
- Communication and teamwork skills
