General Factory/Production Worker Job at International Paper - Omaha Box
PRODUCTION Position
Effectively operate corrugating or finishing machines to achieve plant goals, including; working safely; maintain/improving productivity according to established methods and goals; participating in crew meetings; able to perform basic math functions; ability to read specification, work order, and tape measure; identifying mechanical problems and barriers to improvement; proactive in areas of safety, waste reduction, quality issues, and productivity; active participation in team problem solving processes.
Work hours: 3pm - 11pm or 11pm – 7am
Special Skills (degrees, certifications, software, etc.)
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment and be a self-starter
- All candidates “must” be available to work overtime
- A high school diploma or GED desired and must be at least 18 yrs of age
Skills required:
- Ability to read specifications and work orders.
- Perform basic math skills and read a tape measure
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
**Must be able to pass a 30 minute basic industrial skills test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.02 - $23.20 per hour
