General Cleaner - (Monday thru Friday, 6:00pm – 10:00pm) (NARA II) Job at Emcor
EMCOR Government Services is seeking a part-time General Cleaner (Monday thru Friday, 6:00pm – 10:00pm) in College Park, MD.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean, stock and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, etc.)
- Perform maintenance activities
- Performing cleaning tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a janitor (5 yr experience)
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be willing to adhere to company policies
- Must be able to pass background check on credit and criminal
- Must be able to work any shift assigned
- Familiarity with SDS
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Physical Demands
- Abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and carrying.
