This is a great opportunity to work in a new building at Ft. Belvoir. The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the
establishment's storage plan.

Duties include, but not limited to:
Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.- Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
- May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Deliver and distribute materials in a professional and courteous manner
- Support inventory control and the movement of materials.
- Assists with general building facilities support tasks
- Update the warehouse database
- Maintain a safe clean environment at all times
- General computer knowledge
- Experience operating material handling equipment
