ROAM Gallery is seeking part time Gallery Sales Associates, preferably with art gallery and/or retail sales experience. The ideal candidates are friendly, have a can-do attitude, and are team players. We offer competitive hourly rates and the position will include weekends and/or flexible weekday hours.

This position includes strong and friendly customer service, reaching sales goals with the team, answering phones, customer follow-ups, online sales follow-ups, and minor administrative work. This position supports the gallery managers in doing various projects in data entry, inventory, stock management, and point of sales both onsite and online. This position will help with online sales shipping and inventory.

Previous experience not required but is preferred if skillset includes working on iMac, Shopify Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, Artfundi. Punctuality and reliability is a must.

This position will work both the fair-trade retail store gallery as well as the photography and African fine art gallery – both at the Mass MoCA campus. Our hours can be flexible for those with children to be half-days or who are continuing their education with school hours.

ROAM A Xtina Parks Gallery is built upon the tenet to offer excellent African cultural objects, artwork, and fair-trade items directly from people and villages all over the African continent. Xtina Parks is an African wildlife photographer and conservationist working to build sustainable eco-friendly and positive economic development to those whose lives are challenged by HIV, by poverty, and lack of education. The groups we work with offer help with medication, education, and provide work opportunities for our artisans and their families – helping people by selling their work makes ROAM proud to be of service and also to offer our clients unique, one of a kind, and interesting works. Through the lens of the camera, Xtina’s photography sales also promote the natural world and how we can make changes in our lives to save the land for the people, and for the wildlife – to exist together and for people to profit from the natural beauty of their homelands – through eco-tourism and not from poaching or deforestation.

ROAM is home to both our art and photography galleries and to Xtina Studios, our full feature film production company where we film conservation efforts ongoing in Africa.
