    Salary: Pay for this position is determined by the Operations Salary Schedule, Evening Custodian, and based on years of experience and education, $13.61-$14.42

    QUALIFICATIONS :
    • High School Diploma or similar work experience
    • Must have current and valid Colorado Driver License
    • Knowledge of current cleaning services involving floor maintenance, restroom sanitation and safety practices is desirable
    • Ability to perform duties with limited supervision and work independently.
    • Teamwork skills
    • Must be highly dependable and responsible in meeting requirements of the position.
    • Ability to have flexibility to support buildings and their needs during daytime or evening hours
    • Willingness to flex schedule at times to accommodate weekend school activities
    • Ability to handle extensive physical activity and lift a minimum of 50 to 100 pounds
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical
    • Must meet general classified employee responsibilities established by the District
    • Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students and the public
    • Ability to read, write and speak in order to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities
    • Physical strength and coordination to operate the equipment: Cleaning materials and tools, basic repair tools, buffer, vacuum cleaner, lunchroom tables, snow removal equipment including shovel and/or small tractor, and shampooer
    • Integrity, trust and work ethic to be able to work with little supervision
    • Must have a strong ability to work with peers and the public
    POSITION DUTIES INCLUDE :
    • Cleans all parts of the building and empties trash in areas assigned by Head Custodian
    • Must have the ability to organize work schedules and demonstrate flexibility in meeting various projects with interruptions
    • Must be highly dependable and responsible in meeting requirements of the position
    • Must demonstrate punctuality, dependability, productivity, and the willingness to work until the job is done
    • Washes windows and cleans classroom white/chalk boards on a schedule provided by supervisor
    • Assists in setting up and taking down equipment for school programs/athletic events
    • Secures the building at the end of the school day as well as at the end of the custodial work day
    • When working days; helps with setup, cleaning and supervision for breakfast and lunch programs
    • Moves classroom/building furniture throughout the building as needed
    • Cleans bodily fluid spills as needed
    • Possesses skills to be able to utilize basic technology as directed by the District to communicate and function effectively
    • Must be able to work at different locations as directed by the Director of Operations
    • Other duties as assigned by Head Custodian related to the job
