Lovely San Diego family (Scripps Ranch) looking for a Nanny/Household Assistant to help a busy household with 3 kids (10yo girl, 8 yo twin boys) who are in school a good majority of the day. Must be an experienced, mature candidate who knows how to run a household, be of help to a family and anticipate needs. Family would like someone who walks into the house with a smile and the kids are thrilled to see because of her loving, helpful disposition. A 2+ year commitment is required.

Pay: $28-$30 per hour DOE + additional benefits such as PTO, and paid holidays

Schedule:

M, Tu, Fri- Client flex with ours, 6 hours a day needed

W + TH- 12noon- 6pm

Guarantee 30 hours a week

Primary responsibilities - first and foremost, creating an attentive and loving environment for the kids

• Maintain family schedule and be a clear communicator
• Assist with homework
• Help kids stay on task with school projects and keep Mom in the loop
• Pick up/Drive to after-school activities. (NO TEXTING WHEN DRIVING)
• Playing/reading to/with them, singing, teaching new skills and going for walks, planning activities, playdates, arts and crafts
• Helping kids to keep backpacks organized

Secondary responsibilities - household management

• Meal prep for kids including packing snacks and lunches for school
• Kid's Laundry (they put it away themselves)
• Dishes Load/Unload
• Cleaning out the fridge as needed
• Garbage (taking in and out as needed)
• Organizing and tidying
• Grocery shopping and errands as needed
• Checking/Sorting mail and deliveries
• General tidying of home each day
• Maintaining the children’s areas and ensuring items are stocked and organized
• Packing/Organizing/Unpacking for trips

Must Haves:

• COVID vaccinated
• CPR & First Aid Trained
• Education a plus
• Clean driving record, no DUI or DWI
• Non-Smoker
• 3+ years of nanny experience
• 3+ years of experience working with elementary school-age kids
• Safe car for getting to and from work/running errands
• Be able to provide 3 - 5 supervisory references
• Healthy and active, able to keep up with the kids
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
• Exp. working with siblings who are close in age
