Full Stack Developer Job at Digital Impulse
The Role
At Digital Impulse, we believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work. We’re looking for a creative thinker with creativity, perspective, and problem-solving skills to join our team as a Full Stack Developer. In this role you’ll be responsible for developing and designing frontend and backend web architecture, working alongside our design and marketing teams to execute on client goals, and above all, ensuring an excellent user experience.
Full Stack Developers at Digital Impulse see out a project from conception to final product, requiring great organizational skills and attention to detail.
The Responsibilities
- Developing responsive frontend using industry standard CSS/JS frameworks
- Implementing custom backend functionality
- Building custom themes in WordPress
- Integrations with third party services
- Optimizing older sites and systems (frontend and backend)
- QA for devices and browsers
- Working alongside graphic designers to elevate experience through design implementation
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
- Scoping projects and providing recommendations for alternative solutions
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
The Qualifications
- Exceptional problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Independence
- Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Familiarity with and perspective on JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Familiarity with and perspective on server side languages, including PHP
- Familiarity with and perspective on content management systems, including WordPress
- Familiarity with database technologies
- Excellent verbal communication skills
