South Mountain Creamery is a dairy farm family. We bottle our own milk and make our own butter, yogurt, and ice cream. We brought the milkman back in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 19 years and counting! Over the years, we have grown to be the largest and most efficient home delivery business in the area. We are currently hiring for an Order Fulfillment Associate in our Frozen Goods department. Our Order Fulfillment team ensures our home delivery customers receive the freshest local products we offer.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Reading order sheets
• Pull items from shelves based on customer tickets
• Ensure order accuracy
• Pack orders quickly and with caution
• Stage items for the delivery team
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area
• Maintain the organization of the freezer area
• Stock inventory
• Rotate inventory to ensure freshness
• Other duties as assigned

The right person will come in with a sense of humor, is responsible, is a team player, and is able to select products in a safe and efficient manner.

This position will be cross-trained to perform other functions and work in varying temperature zones –the incumbent will need to be able to enter and work in cold environments (the deep freezer) to select the necessary items for their orders. The Order Fulfillment Associate needs to be able to lift 30-40lbs intermittently, work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to stand for extended periods of time.

This position will work Monday - Thursday 6:00am-4:00pm*shift may require some flexibility in end/start times
