Our engineering organization is reimagining our tech stacks and consolidating to a single cloud-native platform, so we can test and learn faster. The new platform is composed of gRPC microservices and Lambdas in Go, Kafka streams, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, and micro-frontends on Node and React. We're utilizing industry best practices and tools like OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Github, SignalFX, Figma, and others to make our lives easier.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Technology team as Frontend Software Engineer II. The candidate would join a small, agile team responsible for building a platform to support our community team. The candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation, and implementation of new product features.

    What You'll Need to Succeed:

    • 3-6 years of professional engineering experience
    • 2+ years of professional React experience
    • 1+ years of professional experience with GraphQL
    • Previous experience working with startup and/or growth companies
    • Good knowledge of API design and development
    • Ability to thrive as part of a multi-site development team
    • Ability to test, debug and supervise your own code
    • A bias to action and passion for problem-solving
    • Knowledge of AWS or other cloud technologies
    • Experience with CI/CD tools with an emphasis on building quality code preferred
    • Experience working for a startup and/or high growth tech company, preferably a consumer-oriented or marketplace service.
    • Experience with developing product and user interface requirements.
    • Experience working in an agile environment.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
    • Manage and execute A/B testing and tools, including LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, etc.

Salary Range: $104,148 to $156,221. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of IAC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, IAC provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
