Join Sedaro as an early and critical team member as we develop the world’s first digital twin platform for space systems. Sedaro is hiring a Front-End Engineer to develop our detailed React client to help achieve our mission of building infinitely scalable space system simulation software in the cloud


The ideal Front-End Engineer is someone who is extremely proficient at applying TypeScript, NodeJS, and React to deliver a highly-dynamic React app with a focus on user experience, scalability, and testability.


This position will work with other software developers, user experience designers, technical documentation specialists, product managers, and business development leads. The ideal candidate will understand industry standard UX practices and solve truly challenging problems within our cutting-edge tech stack.

Responsibilities

  • Help build and implement the complex user interfaces and analytics of Sedaro’s web-based platform.
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
  • Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
  • Contribute to updates, new capability, and consistency of Sedaro’s SaaS UI
  • Maintain quality and consistency by reviewing work of other Devs including Peer review and code reviews
  • Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations
  • Help bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation
  • Write user stories and test plans in: ClickUp, Figma, and Canva

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an individual contributor using:
    • TypeScript
    • NodeJS
    • React
    • Nice to have familiarity w Python (backend)
    • Material Design (UI libraries)
    • GitLab - code repository
    • Test frameworks – Cypress, Jest
  • Familiarity with writing and implementing test plans
  • Own the function as the primary contributor
  • Wants to grow into team lead
  • Figma, Canva
  • Consume multiple service APIs
  • Stream use cases where data is played back live
  • Solid coding practices, including working with the end-user to gather technical requirements and feedback
