We are looking for a talented and creative Software Engineer to join a growing and motivated team working in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum, .Net shop. We employ excellent people who want to make a difference, and who want to work hard in a casual, t-shirts and jeans environment where collaboration is encouraged and long, drawn-out meetings are frowned upon. Most of our work is now done remotely, but we do have a need for onsite participation in various training and design meetings throughout the year. Physical proximity to either our Thousand Oaks or Folsom locations is strongly desired.

UI Software Engineer
We are looking for a User Interface Software Engineer to help us maintain and enhance our extensive line of internal business applications as well as our customer-facing websites. Working with analysts and other engineers, you will help design and create new applications and features as well as help maintain existing code for our web and server-based applications using C#, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Create and maintain software applications that allow the company to meet its evolving business objectives
- Create and maintain interfaces that enhance the user experience and contribute to productivity
- Be an engaged, effective, and enthusiastic team member who enhances the productivity of the rest of the team
- Continually upgrade knowledge and skills to keep up with the pace of technology
- High-quality applications and features that meet Stakeholder needs are produced on schedule and within resource allocations
- All code that is produced is efficient, maintainable, and conforms in style to accepted standards
- All design work is appropriate to the need and is developed and documented in collaboration with project team members
- Code is developed within a team environment in a manner that facilitates automated builds
- Bug rates are kept low through thorough unit testing and continual awareness of and attention to improvement

- Solid skills with all aspects of multi-tiered applications including user interfaces, business objects, data objects
- 2+ years programming in C#
- Extensive experience with .NET Framework components through v 4.0
- Experience working with Web services, ASP.NET, and MVC in Visual Studio.NET
- Experience with HTML5, XHTML, XML, CSS, and CSS3
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to participate in and contribute to productive meetings
- Able to participate in sprint planning and tracking in accordance with project plans and management directives
- Organized and able to work with minimal supervision
These additional skills and qualifications will be helpful:
- Experience with jQuery, Bootstrap, VUE, and Tailwind Frameworks
- Experience with UI build tools such as Webpack and Vite
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and JavaScript Design Patterns
- Solid relational database design and implementation skills working in SQL Server
- Experience in agile development methodology preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- MCSD, MCAD, or MCPD
- Vision: Requirements of this job include close vision
- Speaking/Hearing: Ability to give and receive information through speaking and listening
- Dexterity and ability to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects for significant portions of the workday
