Position Summary:
Horizon is building an in-house development team. This role offers the exciting opportunity to help establish and grow the function. The Senior Front-End Developer will contribute to a variety of front-end tasks including maintenance of our CMS component library (Crownpeak), website styling updates, and website content authoring.
This individual will also be critical in supporting the development and evolution of Horizon’s component-based CRM platform.
Responsibilities:
  • Front-end development for existing site updates, new pages/features, and new websites
  • Front-end optimization contributions for component library and CMS templates
  • Website content authoring and updates
  • Effectively collaborate with internal and 3rd party development and creative teams
  • Make recommendation for future optimization and process improvements
  • Contribute to the development of content libraries and design systems for multiple digital tactics
  • Provide mentorship to junior developers
  • Stay on top of changing digital behaviors and trends and regularly communicate opportunities and insights
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in a front-end developer role. HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript (Bootstrap, Angular, React)
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (Crownpeak, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, or similar)
  • Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external development and design teams
  • Comfortable with SCRUM/agile methodologies while working within development sprints
  • Experience with technical QA, version control, and testing
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organization skills
  • Team-oriented attitude with demonstrated success as a valued colleague within a cross-functional team
  • Experienced in managing tactics through the regulatory approval process
