We are currently looking for a friendly and upbeat Front Desk Receptionist/Administrator for our West Los Angeles Wellness office. We are a Wellness Center focusing on Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy and Decompression therapy.

We are looking for someone who is looking for something long term and who can start right away.

Hours:

Monday 8:00am-1:00pm / 3:30pm-6:30pm

Tuesday: 8:00am-4:30pm

Wednesday: 8:00am-1:00pm / 3:30pm-6:30pm

Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm

Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Tasks this position entails:

-Data entry

-Data/Stat tracking

-Coordinating patient flow throughout office

-Patient registration

-Greets patients and directs them to appropriate departments

-Answers multiple phone lines; directs calls and takes messages as needed

-Verifies patient information and insurance eligibility; collects copays.

-Directs patients to complete forms and processes patient-related paperwork

-Informs providers of no shows and cancellations

-Makes follow-up appointments for patients and calls patients to confirm appointments

-Contacts no show patients and reschedules appointments as appropriate

-Performs various front-office duties in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment, as assigned

-Prepares patient’s chart upon patient arrival.

-Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler with a high rate of accuracy.

-Registers patients by verifying that patient's record is up to date and accurate.

-Makes appropriate changes in computer system.

-Reminds patients of appointment and notifies patients of change in appointment date via telephone or email.

-Enters confidential personal health information and financial information into computerized system with a high rate of accuracy.

-Complies with federal and local laws in ensuring patient privacy.

-Collects payment from patients, applies payments and adjustments to patient accounts in the computer system, and reconciles daily cash reports.

-Enters treatment authorizations into the computer system.

-Organizes and prepares documents necessary for the following day’s clinic.

-Provides exemplary customer service: treats patients, visitors and coworkers with courtesy and discretion.

-Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

-An outgoing personality!

-Ability to be highly flexible, travel for trainings

-Skill in using a PC with associated programs including Word, Excel, and E-mail, demonstrated work experience with a database computer program

-Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities

-Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with Faculty, Staff, Administration, and patients from various social, cultural, and economic backgrounds

-Ability to creatively integrate competing demands into a productive working environment

-Skill in verbal communications to clearly convey complex problems in both formal and informal situations

-Ability to multitask

-Server/restaurant experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
