Overview

We are looking for a candidate who is a quick learner and is looking for a set schedule with a mid-week "weekend". The Lead Spa Desk Coordinator is responsible for spa coordinator duties, spa attendant duties, assisting the Manager with payroll, buying and inventory of guest and operating supplies. They will play an integral role in Membership development and retention and Club & Spa Operations. This position provides leadership, direction, and support to all coordinators and attendants.

The Lead Spa Desk Coordinator will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards. The Sage Springs Lead Spa Desk Coordinator will always conduct themselves in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Commitment and Open and Honest Communication. They shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times and for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!

Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming guests calls, book spa and club reservations, providing guest tours
  • Assists in training new spa coordinators and attendants
  • Assists and helps cover any desk needs or changes
  • Processes all invoices in a timely manner
  • Processes Payroll and Commission for all associates of Sage Springs Club & Spa
  • Assist Director of Sage Springs Club & Spa in monitoring associate time punches in Timesaver to ensure accurate payroll
  • Maintains strong knowledge of all spa services, including benefits and uses of each
  • Maintains inventory of guest and operating supply products and orders when needed
  • Sells membership benefits to potential members
  • Makes schedule changes for spa therapists when Director and Assistant Manager are unavailable.
  • Resolves guest problems and is empowered to act in absence of manager
  • Maintains records for all VIPs, special requests, etc.
  • Ensure Club & Spa facility is clean, orderly, and well-maintained
  • Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
  • Supports Spa Desk Coordinators and Spa Attendants in the absence of the Director and Assistant Manager
  • Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to Spa Manager or Director of Recreation. Submits workorder (HotSOS) when needed
  • Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Sunriver Resort dress code standards.
  • Assists with membership inquiries as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior spa reservations experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • At least two years customer service experience required
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must possess a current and valid OLCC servers permit and CPR card.
  • Strong customer services skills both in person and on the phone
  • Ability to learn computer software quickly
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
  • Must be highly detailed orientated
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Enjoys working in a team environment and strives to keep it that way
