Fresno Delivery Driver Job at Jacks Tire And Oil Management Compa
Fresno Tire Retreading facility is hiring Class B or A driver for our day shift delivery route position. This position requires at least a class B driver’s license to drive a 33000 lb. Box Truck with an automatic transmission (NO TRAILER). This is a Full time permanent position, approximate hours 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with WEEKENDS OFF. A driver is needed now so this position will be filled ASAP. This position’s starting pay is $18.50 an hour plus overtime pay after 8 hours a day. Medical and dental benefits available first of the month following 30 days of employment. Uniforms provided after 30 days. Other benefits include, paid holidays, 401K program, safety bonus, paid vacation and paid sick time.

BRIEF JOB SUMMARY:
Our Trucks are 2 axle and can legally travel the posted speed limit up to 70 mph
You will be driving a (Class B) Kenworth or Peterbilt 33000 lb. box truck (NO TRAILER) to make deliveries and pickups.
Hours of work from 7:00 am to approx. 5:00 pm Monday through Friday 40 hours a week with some overtime.
Deliver and Pickup Truck Tires for recapping.
Driver will unload and load tires at each stop by lift gate or roll from customers dock (1 to 3 stops per day).
Regular deliveries are between Fresno and Bakersfield, Fresno and Sacramento, Fresno and the Bay area , Fresno and Los Angeles Area , Fresno and Sparks NV.
MOST deliveries take approximately 7 to 9 hours to complete (Sparks NV and LA deliveries take approx. 12 hours to complete).
Count all tires loaded and unloaded.
Have customers sign invoices (paper and electronic) for tires you deliver.
Collect paperwork from customers for tires being picked up.
Properly fill out all paperwork as instructed.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a valid Class B or Class A driver’s license with Air Brakes endorsement
(Automatic Transmission Restriction OK)
Must be at least 21 years old and licensed to drive out of state (Reno/Sparks Nevada)
Ability to learn to use E-log for driving time
Must have current DOT Medical card
Must have a CLEAN DMV record
Ability to drive 33000 lb Box Truck 26 foot long (Automatic transmission)
MUST be able to follow instruction and work independently
Must be able to load, unload and roll or stack truck tires by hand or lift gate
Must be detail minded with all paperwork (invoices, E-log, and etc.)
Knowledge of tire sizes helpful BUT not required
Must be customer oriented
Good appearance and attitude required
Must work and drive in a safe manner
Must be able to pass a DOT drug test at ANY TIME
