GH Logistics is a dynamic freight brokerage that is committed to providing exceptional service to our customers via our own asset-based supply chain. We work with shippers of all sizes to provide transportation solutions that meet the needs of our supply chain. We are currently seeking an experienced Freight Brokerage Agent to join our team and expand on our current assets utilization rate in order to increase total contracted freight throughout the United States - specifically Originating in San Antonio.

Job Description:

The Freight Brokerage Agent will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with carriers and customers to ensure the successful delivery of shipments. The ideal candidate will have experience in the transportation industry and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

YOU are in charge of building business relationships - we already have the operations fully serviced, the goal is to increase our total size of the supply chain and provide options for our operations team to keep our managed fleets busy.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with carriers and customers
• Negotiate rates with carriers and customers
• Handle customer and carrier inquiries and concerns

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the transportation industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with transportation management systems
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
