The Food Service Worker will work under the supervision of the Cyber Café Supervisor, and perform a combination of duties to assist with food preparation and customer service.
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Clean kitchen
- Washing dishes, sweeping floors and mopping, cleaning dining tables, walls, appliances
- Assists in organizing the kitchen, coolers, and storage areas
- Assist in loading/unloading and picking up/delivering supplies and food/transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Assists with preparing food orders for café and catering orders, as directed
- Stocks dining room supplies
- Assists with putting away deliveries of food and stock
- Buss tables as needed
- Ensures food is prepared in a clean and timely manner and food meets requirements for quality and quantity
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
Required: Age 18 or older and must be fully vaccinated.
Preferred: High school, GED, and one year of work-related experience working in a food service establishment or a combination of education and experience. ServSafe Certified.
Punctual and dependable
Ability to follow instructions and learn basic tasks
Ability to work in a small space as a team and follow sanitation guidelines
Provides exemplary customer service at all times
Job Type: Part-time

The Cyber Cafe' is located in the Medical Mall in Smithfield, NC. Working in this facility requires staff to be fully vaccinated.
