Job Description includes the following, other duties may by assigned:

Clean and set-up side stations and tables.

Complete side work duties.

Clear tables during service.

Serve water, coffee and other beverages (except alcoholic).

Assist service staff when necessary.

Vacuum dining room and other cleaning tasks as assigned.

Inform servers/dining room supervisor/manager of any complaints or problems.

Assist in lounge as bar porter when necessary.

Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Must be able to work a flexible shift, weekends, holidays

Must have Florida Food Handlers and Alcohol compliance certifications or obtain within 30 days of hire

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate and work well with fellow employees and maintain a presentable appearance, behavior and manner at all times. Ability to transport carts, service equipment, some kitchen and cleaning equipment.

The employee must have the ability to carry a tray up to 50 pounds (up to 8 dinners).

The employee must be able to withstand temperature changes from kitchen to dining room.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
