Precision Boilers is a market leader in electric steam and hot water boilers, pressure vessels, high efficiency fired boilers and ancillary boiler room equipment.

Precision Boilers is seeking Fitters located in our Morristown, TN location. This position will report to the Production Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Employees must be able to perform duties listed in a timely manner with quality results following all TOSHA safety guidelines and regulations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties may be assigned)

• Reading Blueprints
• Fitting
• Math calculations
• Keep the work area clean.
• Must be willing to work overtime and adjusted schedules.
• Incorporate design changes after the fact.

QUALIFICATIONS:

An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in a timely manner with quality results.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED

5 years of Fitting experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divides in all units of measure.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and be able to tolerate repetitive motion during the full course of a scheduled shift.
• Employee must frequently lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
• Able to physically multitask.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• Heat and cold environment with some outdoor work.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
