We are currently auditioning for new cycle instructors to a brand new high energy cycle club in Columbia, MD.

Elite SFN is now seeking qualified professional Indoor cycling instructors who can deliver a fantastic group workout experience to our members. The instructor will lead members, in a group environment, through a pre-arranged format of exercises designed to enhance overall fitness, strength, and endurance, while ensuring that the safety of our members is not compromised. The fitness Instructor will also serve as a resource to educate members on various aspects of cycling, increases member retention and new member enrollment, stays current on latest health and cycling trends, maintains personal commitment to fitness ,maintains highest level of professional ethics and compliance with all policies and procedures, looks professional with good hygiene, and always on time.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Delivers entertaining, motivational, safe, educational, and professional predesigned workout classes to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals.
• Serves as a performer and entertainer throughout the entire class that is dedicated to energize and motivate members throughout the sessions.
• Meets daily class attendance goals and completes all administrative duties as required for this role.
• Attend monthly staff meeting and required workshops.
• Demonstrates proficiency in using digital music technology and provides current music ensuring appropriate language.
• Provides excellent customer service by promptly responding to member needs, concerns, and questions and develops positive relationships with participants by leading inspiring, challenging and entertaining cycling classes and engaging in conversation before and after classes.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Trainer or Primary Group Exercise Instructor Certification from select accredited certifying bodies, limited to , AFAA indoor cycling certification, NETA, Spin Power, MAD Dogg, ACE, NASM, ACSM
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in an exercise related field is preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
• 1+ years of experience teaching groups cycling.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay: $30.00 - $75.00 per hour
