New Life Staffing is hiring for a Finishing Room Supervisor in the Doylestown, PA area.
Job Duties
While many finishers perform the listed job duties and must possess similar knowledge it is recognized that the finishers have differing levels of skill and experience.
Therefore, the exact tasks performed by finishers will differ.
Exact job duties performed by any finisher will depend on the specifics of each client order, the overall volume of work, and the specific skill level and expertise of each finisher.
Requirements:
Accurate and detailed record keeping- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Prior cabinetry or finishing experience
- Must be able to white wood sand, sealer sand, wipe stain, glaze, and spray stains/primer/sealer/enamel/topcoat
- Ability to follow manufacturer’s instructions
- Measurement layout and design experience
- Organizational Skills
- Multitasking
- Flexible approach to work hours to meet deadlines/peak workloads
- Must be a team player and have good communication skills
- Manual handling (lifting required) – 50 lbs chest level
- Must be able to climb up and down ladders
- Must be able to reach, bend, twist, and kneel with and without weight-bearing loads.
- Ability to work in an upright position for 8 hours/day
- Ability to determine whether products meet the company’s specifications
