Job description

  • Analyze historical and current financial data to understand the company's financial status
  • Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation
  • Develop predictive financial models to support organizational decision-making
  • Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins
  • Establish benchmarks for financial processes
  • Track current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation
  • Create reports/presentations that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals
  • Prepare documentation for startups and small businesses to get funding
  • Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis

Job requirements

Education / Experience:
Basic Qualifications
  • Master's degree, preferably with a major in accounting or finance
  • 5 years of ERP systems such as SAP experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • Candidates external to Safran: No relocation offered with this position.
  • Only considering candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Safran Electronics and Defense, Avionics USA, LLC Irvine facility.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Proven analytical skills
  • Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and ERP systems such as SAP.
