Financial Analyst Job at Emerson
As a Financial Analyst, You Will:
- Perform weekly and monthly financial close
- Prepare and enter monthly journal entries
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts including budget to actual variance analysis
- Complete monthly inventory reconciliations and research and correct variances
- Perform ad-hoc analysis of financial data for the purpose of operational decisions
- Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports required for corporate compliance
- Perform weekly payroll review, enter adjustments/corrections and sign-off for processing
- Perform MRO Buyer responsibilities including purchase order and invoice processing
- You establish and maintain effective partnerships with key personnel within the organization to meet goals and objectives
- You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization, following through on commitments and ensuring others do the same

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or closely related field and a minimum of 1 year of related experience in Finance or Accounting. Co-op or internship experience is acceptable.

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization in both oral and written form

Proven competency with Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel

About Our Location
Our 2-building campus offers a safe and clean work environment with a “family” atmosphere. The Rushville facilities are part of the Emerson Commercial Residential Solutions platform. We manufacture new semi-hermetic compressors and take the worn-out, failed compressors out of the field and remanufacture them to “like new” status, as well as manufacture crank shafts. Approximately 200 employees work in Rushville and are an integral part of our organization. A 2-building campus allows for learning and growth opportunities for all our team.
