JOB SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst reports directly to the Senior Financial Data Analyst and works closely with upper management and the CFO. The ideal candidate would have FP&A and Data Analytics experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes including a complete understanding of key business drivers in order to provide valuable insights.
• Partner with functional areas to develop and maintain a deep understanding of key business drivers for the function, specific business processes and priorities, and future strategic direction of the functional area.
• Calculate and maintain KPI reporting and analysis for actual results, forecast and budget.
• Complete advanced analysis that determines path-forward for proper recognition of new and ad-hoc business scenarios within KPI figures.
• Prepare monthly financial slides, format and consolidate data timely and accurately
• Performs and reviews margin analysis (profitability) of customers and product lines or SKUs
• Support new business financial impact review
• Variance reporting (for example Headcount changes) and specific spending tracking (for different projects)
• Take ownership of cost centers and GL account info and respond to questions (where to charge) and research (did we pay a particular charge)
• Financial support for new product launches (for example financial snapshots for product development)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• BS in Accounting, Finance or related fields. 2-year degree considered with applicable experience.
• 1-2 years of finance/business analysis experience

• Experience with Salesforce (Accounting Seed) and NetSuite is ideal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
