Position Objective:

Manage workload for team of analysts and finance managers supporting all ten AAF Flanders plants, product development, engineering, logistics, purchasing and SIOP organization.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring production and delivery performance across manufacturing footprint.
  • Monitors system-wide plant performance on an individual basis, assesses MTD Performance on key metrics/initiatives, highlighting areas of concern and providing explanations of key underlying issues to leadership.
  • Drives the development of reporting and analytical team in attainment of their performance targets, goals, and objectives.
  • Provides cross functional financial and general guidance to Operations leadership team, Purchasing, Product Development, Logistics and SIOP departments.
  • Leads cross functional teams in creation of holistic solutions to complex systemic organizational problems.
  • Builds financial models and develops business cases and provides necessary training.
  • Sets annual goals and objectives for employees and manage/review performance.
  • Assigns tasks and responsibilities in a manner that ensures completion while also developing two-deep talent across team of employees.
  • Review and approve JEs, review and approve balance sheet reconciliations, and makes sure to ensure reconciling items are resolved in a timely matter.
  • Directs and approves completion of physical Inventory, completion of Fixed Assest Audit, and completion of the standard cost development across three separate ERP systems.
  • Provides guidance on proper accounting treatment under US GAAP / IFRS.
  • Manage CAPEX review process with lead engineer.
  • Establishes annual company-wide CAPEX budget.
  • Reviews and approves all CAPEX requests – performing due diligence on all proposals.
  • Responsible for presenting CAPEX projects to senior leadership for appropriate approval.
  • Manages the timing, delivery, and performance of CAPEX projects.
  • Manages development of annual Operations & Supply Chain budget.
  • Facilitates development of improvement and recovery plans.
  • Provides monthly/quarterly forecasts for operations, and providing updates to annual forecast.
  • Develop/deliver presentation to upper management.


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university required; ten (10) years' manufacturing experience preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience;
  • Minimum of 2 years of managing others.
