Field Technician - Water Transfer Job at Stingray Energy Services LLC

Position: Field Technician
Status: Non-Exempt
General Purpose of Position: Responsible for the day to day maintenance and operations of water transfer equipment.
Essential Job Duties:
- Making sure employee and crew are wearing applicable PPE and operating in a safe manner at all times.
- Participate in rig up and rig down procedures on all water transfer operations.
- Manually install lay flat pipe for use in water transfers.
- Install and monitor performance of pumps used in water transfers.
- Keep supervisors and on site personnel aware of any issues by monitoring lines, pumps, and tanks.
- Keep trucks and other equipment clean and organized.
- Inform Crew Leader of any repairs needed or issues with equipment.
- Adhere to all HSE and PPE requirements.
- Wash and maintain all equipment as needed.
- Assist with rig up and rig down procedures.
Additional Job Duties:
- Train new employees as needed on water transfer equipment.
- Operate forklift.
- Clean, organize, and take inventory of materials at the yard/warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass physical and drug test and comply with regulations
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work irregular hours
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to successfully solve problems
- Comply with all Stingray policies and procedures and all health and safety policies
Environment: Frequent exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
