As a Field Service Technician, you will have the opportunity to create better service to customers, troubleshoot and diagnosis machines to reduce or eliminate the frequency and severity of machine issues. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by providing great service to customers and ensuring they are satisfied with the service and with the company, which in turn, will help foster a robust and safety-focused culture throughout the company. The team you will be working with is close knit and collaborative, and values attention to detail, collaboration, and thorough communication.

So, what will you be doing as a Field Service Technician?

  • Initiate action to prevent occurrences of any non-conformities related to product, process, or the system
  • Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process, and the quality system
  • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
  • Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition is corrected.
  • Set-up machinery at customer’s locations
  • Review troubleshooting techniques with customer
  • Inspection and replacement of defective parts/items
  • Recommendation of additional parts/items needing replaced
  • Identify, record, and communicate any problems relating to the product, process, and/or Quality System, and initiate actions by providing solutions, improvements, and/or recommendations.
  • Verify the implementations of solutions
  • Review work performed with customer to verify work is to customer satisfaction

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • High school or GED required/ Electrical or Mechanical degree preferred
  • Ability to travel both Domestically and Internationally (approximately 75-90%)
  • Ability to perform occasional weekend work when required
  • Good customer relations skills
  • Must be very detailed orientated
