Field Service Technician - Apprentice Job at Terex Corporation
Job Description:
You will Install, troubleshoot, and repair Ecotc and similar equipment by direction of Ecotec. Provide phone support to same as needed. Provide technical training to peers, CSR’s and FST ’s
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide both on-site and phone technical support to Ecotec’s installed customer base via the following activities:
- Installing, aligning, balancing of new equipment.
- Fitting, welding, machining, and repairing equipment as necessary in the field.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and hydraulic system problems.
- Operate Ecotec provided service vehicles in a responsible manner, follow all Federal Motor Carrier requirements, and maintain proper licensures.
- Perform Start Up Training of operators and maintenance personnel. Obtain required sign-off documents and return to Ecotec.
- Provide technical support to the Sales Department on demonstrations, customer visits and conference calls.
- Maintain accurate reports and tool truck inventory: perform scheduled cycle counts and reconcile all discrepancies.
- Maintain consistent, current communication with Ecotec’s Service Department on whereabouts and schedule.
- Lead and assist in making contacts with customers to solicit service sales
- Ability to travel, 90%
