For Orange/Osceola/Seminole and surrounding area and Counties. You MUST LIVE in Central Florida to be considered for one of these positions. Out of state candidates will not be considered for this Field Agent position.

Base salary $30,000 - 35,000 plus Plus commissions - plus Auto allowance $500 per month - plus Phone allowance $60 per month.

This is a NEW REGION - expanding our Medicare advantage plan to Central Florida means you will be able to provide a large impact.

Ultimate Health Plans, Inc. (“UHP”) is a fast growing Medicare Advantage health plan with its headquarters located in Spring Hill, Florida. UHP plans provide all the benefits of Original Medicare Parts A and B, plus additional benefits not available with Original Medicare.

Position Summary Primary responsibility includes prospecting and generating new sales for assigned accounts. Responsible for attaining sales objectives for assigned accounts. Coordinates and locates leads for partner sales team by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Grows company’s membership base within the community by reaching out to Medicare beneficiaries.
  • Conducts group seminars as well as one-on-one training meetings with potential clients.
  • Spends time in the field at offices of key network providers (physicians), community-based organizations, community events and health fairs educating eligible Medicare program participants on their health care options and specifically on our product offering.
  • Accesses leads system (through the Internet, at a local office, or by fax) and enters leads/applicant information into the database.
  • Compiles lists of prospective clients to provide leads for additional business.
  • Contacts and qualifies prospective clients and explains features and merits of policies offered, recommending amount and type of coverage based on analysis of prospect's circumstances.
  • Calls on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to suggest additions or changes in insurance program, or to make changes in beneficiaries.
  • Develops and maintains partner relationships and delivers results against defined goals and metrics.
  • Supports sales team efforts to recruit, contract, train, and service producers.
  • Identifies other distribution channels for distribution of Medicare products.
  • Demonstrates flexibility to meet changing segment and company goals, promoting and supporting management directives.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Existing Health Insurance License for the State of Florida.

Other Qualifications

At least 3 years previous experience in Managed Care and Medicare strongly preferred.

Travel – 75%

Ability to work flexible hours (i.e., events, etc.) required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
