Farm Worker Job at DeRuwe L&F Inc.
We are looking to hire a full-time farm and ranch hand. This job is very diverse and requires a self-motivated individual with the ability to solve problems.
The farm consists primarily of dryland winter wheat. There are some irrigated crops under pivots and twenty acres of handlines. We also run a cow-calf operation and feedlot calves from November to February.
Daily tasks vary from feeding cows, working in the shop, operating equipment, spraying and irrigating. A background in diesel mechanics would be preferred but is not required.
Due to some of the contract work we do; we require the employee to have a Commercial Pesticide License. We can also assist you in the pesticide license process.
Having a CDL is also a plus but not required.
License must pass insurance check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
