Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board is seeking a therapist who is passionate about working with children, adolescents and families who reside in the Buchanan County, VA area. Responsibilities include providing mental health therapy, case management, and crisis services to children and adolescents who reside in Tazewell County. Treatment settings include office, community, home and school-based settings. Extensive documentation requirements in order to meet regulations.
Will assess service needs of assigned Seriously Emotionally Disturbed and At-risk of SED individuals receiving services, link individuals receiving services to community services, coordinate services and plans with collateral agencies and providers, monitor individuals receiving services' progress towards identified service plans, and advocate for needed resources and services for individuals receiving services. Will also provide acute counseling services to individuals receiving services. Can work up to 29 hours weekly.
