Summary

A division of Clinicare Corporation, Milwaukee Academy is a COA accredited, QRTP certified residential treatment center providing intensive, trauma-focused treatment for adolescents assigned female at birth, ages 10-17 who are struggling with emotional and behavioral difficulties.

We seek enthusiastic individuals with a desire to work with youth who present with complex mental and behavioral health conditions in a residential care setting. Our ideal candidate is a principled, passionate, motivated, team player ready to assist our residents in meeting their treatment goals.

Salary

• $60,000 – 84,000 per year

Snapshot of the Role

To provide family therapy for females 10 to 17 years of age in our residential treatment program and their families. For holistic care, this role is also responsible for staff training on family dynamics, as well as resident group work.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field or Ph.D./Psy.D. in psychology
• Certification or licensure as a psychotherapist, marriage and family therapist, licensed clinical social worker, professional counselor or licensed psychologist.
• Desired training and experience includes trauma informed practices, addictions, high-risk populations, basic therapy modalities, and knowledge of the DSM-V psychiatric diagnoses.
• Special consideration given to those with experience with adolescents, and/or work in an RCC setting.

Hours

• 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Full-time 40 hours per week
• Scheduling may require some flexibility to support youth and program needs
