About Dublin:

Our Dublin hospital is growing fast and expanding many of our service offerings, which means we are in need of an experienced Facilities Custodian/Maintenance technician to support our team.
Who you are:
As a Facilities Custodian, you’ll have a large part in keeping the entire operation running smoothly. You are an independent worker with a positive can-do attitude, who enjoys interactions with all departments and sometimes outside service representatives.
You will support our team of exceptional Veterinary professionals by performing repair work around the hospital; fixing broken cabinets, repairing faulty exam tables, changing out lightbulbs, performing minor building repairs and ensuring all non-medical equipment is functional. Duties also include sweeping, mopping, oiling and waxing floors; vacuuming carpets; cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture; emptying waste receptacles; cleaning hallways, rest rooms, light fixtures and assisting in moving and arranging furniture, equipment, and supplies. Other duties as assigned. To sum it up you are a main “go-to” person around the hospital, you take pride in what you do, and you enjoy working behind the scenes!
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, cleaning materials, janitorial tools, and equipment.
- Knowledge of routine building and grounds maintenance.
- Ability to operate, care and maintain tools and equipment used in janitorial work.
- Ability to complete minor facility repairs.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time- 40 hours per week
- 5/8 Schedule
- Overnight shift
- Weekend availability required
- Some flexibility with work hours (start/end time)
