Professional Fabricator

If you’re looking for a job opportunity that will allow you to put your welding and fabrication talents to use, we may have the perfect place for you. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, fabricating metal components or structures.

Welding and Fabrication Responsibilities:

· Constructing jigs, fixtures, custom machine components, and modification of existing equipment

· Mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic

· Perform machinist duties and responsibilities

· Able to read and accurately interpret documentation such as blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical specs

· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders

· Identify tasks and prepare appropriate responses or actions for successful completion.

· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment

· Work safely and assures co-workers work safely

· Computer and report writing skills

· Good communication skills.

Qualifications

· Maintains a safe work environment

· High school diploma or a GED equivalent

· 3 years minimum experience in fabrication or similar role. Trade school certificate or associate’s degree a plus

· Deadline and detail-oriented

· Good language skills – English and Strong analytical and math skills

· Self-motivated and directly able to perform essential job tasks with minimal supervision

· Must be able to lift 75 lbs. or more at any given time throughout the day

· Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and dependable means of transportation.

· Sound experience in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
