Saint Vincent College invites applications for a full-time Executive in Residence position with a flexible start date. The position requires a master’s degree and a proven background in business with a preference toward project management, management/leadership, supply chain, or operational excellence.

Saint Vincent College offers graduate and undergraduate programs in Management and Operational Excellence. Successful candidates will have at least a master’s degree in a business field and executive level industry experience. The candidate will teach courses supporting the Management, Business Administration and/or Operational Excellence programs, advise students, and maintain an active program of scholarship in Management and/or Operations. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

We are seeking outstanding candidates who exhibit a strong commitment to undergraduate education and building positive relationships with colleagues, regional organizations, and students. The successful candidate will teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses that support the Management, Business Administration, and Operational Excellence programs based on their background, supervise student projects, advise majors, and network with area businesses and organizations. The standard teaching load is 24 credit hours per year. Service to the department and college is expected. Excellent communication skills are required. Successful candidates will have expertise in project management, human resource management, supply chain, leadership, operational excellence, or related field.

The teaching philosophy statement must address how innovative pedagogical methods will be incorporated into teaching. The application must address the mission of the department and the college will be furthered through both teaching and research.
