Sr. ERP Analyst is responsible for all aspects involving the ERP system (Plex). This role will be a liaison for the oversees Plex teams which currently include Europe (Germany, Serbia and UK) and all of the North America region. Other responsibilities include:


  • SME for all financial-related modules
  • Work with MX ERP leader in region standardization
  • Develop strong SME’s at plant level; track KPI’s for ERP team following IT goals set by home office.
  • Consult with business unit management and personnel to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures and problems
  • Define IT solutions to various business needs and communicate in clear terms to business unit management the IT solution alternatives and assist them in their decision making
  • Create and update business process documents and maintain same in DCS in Plex
  • Create requirements documents, functional specification documents, unit and integrated test scenario documents and other relevant artifacts necessary for implementation of IT solutions
  • Partner with IT SMEs and business sponsors to create project objectives and implementation roadmaps
  • Create and maintain project plans to implement approved IT projects
  • Lead and direct partner(s) as well as internal resources (onsite and offshore) on project task
  • Monitor and control project activities per the plan and communicate status to key stakeholders
  • Communicate and coordinate reports and other technical development from geographically dispersed teams and manage the team members
  • Work with China Applications team on any cross-functional tasks
  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving day-to-day IT issues through timely response to the Help Desk/Plex USR system
  • Create or update end user training documents and guides
  • Provide hands-on training to end users on various aspects of applications
  • Additional responsibilities as directed


To be a qualified candidate you must have the following:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in management within IT (preferably in ERP) OR 2+ years in Senior or Lead role within ERP/Business IT
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting and implementing enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, Supply Chain, HRIS) required and at least 1 years of experience in implementing Plex SaaS Platform suite preferred
    • Lead at least 2 full life cycle implementations of Plex SaaS modules and directed medium to large project teams (at least 5 individuals)
    • Strong functional knowledge in core ERP products is a must
    • Experience in integrating plant control systems to ERP systems preferred
    • Plex Discrete Manufacturing (Inventory, WIP, Costing)
    • Plex Process Manufacturing (Process execution, Product development, Quality, Costing)
    • Plex Warehouse Management
    • Enterprise Finance Suite Management
    • Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA)
    • Plex Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) (preferred)
    • Plex Order Management and Pricing (preferred)
    • Plex Purchasing (preferred)
    • Knowledge of all tables, views and schema objects of Plex or ERP Systems
    • Ability to write simple, custom logic routines within Plex
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL, REST/JSON, ODBC, Web service
  • Understanding of key operational metrics such as OEE and experience implementing IT solutions for those metrics
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, approaches and standards in the automotive industry

  • Job duties may require frequent overnight and international travel including plane flights in excess of 12 hours in duration.
  • Able to travel at least 20% worldwide without any restrictions
