Equipment Operator Job at Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation
Under the direction of the Roads and Grounds Manager, the incumbent must be able to operate heavy equipment such as Bulldozers, Excavators, Loaders, Vibratory Compactors, Backhoes and 12-16 Ton Dual Drum Roller Compactors. High School diploma and/or GED plus a minimum of five years of experience in the operation of several of the above cited pieces of equipment. Must maintain a valid driver's license or Class II driver's license. Must provide a yearly DMV Certified Driving History.
This position has mandatory 24 hour on-call duty from November 1 to April 1. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. May be transferred into any division within the Public Works Department as needed or assigned.
