ENVIRONMENTAL PUBLIC HEALTH SPECIALIST – Polk County Health Center has an opening for an Environmental Public Health Specialist. This position is a full-time, 40 hours a week. Duties include but not limited: administration and enforcement of Federal, State and local statutes, ordinances and regulations related to public health and sanitation; to encourage sound sanitary and environmental health practices; and to protect the environment and the public. Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited four year college or university with course work (30 credit hours) in environmental health, biology, bacteriology, or sanitary science or in combination of these areas, etc. Previous experience is a preferred but not required.

Pay: $43,700.00 - $46,800.00 per year
