We are currently searching for Entry Level Machine Operators to join our Drill Finish department on swing shift, Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. This position is a full time benefit eligible position. Set pay increases are given during the training period, based on progress. Wage is $13.75 per hour which includes a $1.75 per hour shift differential. There is continued training opportunities and advancement potential.

The Entry Level Machine Operator position is the entry level position in the department. Responsibilities include becoming familiar with all machinery and processes within the department. Basic duties include machine operation, load/unload parts, wash parts, assemble parts, inspect parts, move materials, and perform any duties requested by the Supervisor such as clean up, working in other departments, and the like.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reads job orders
• Operates industrial machinery to achieve production results with constant repetitive motion
• Ensures that all products meet customer specifications by performing quality checks
• Enters data into computer and follows procedures for the activity
• Performs manual production duties satisfactorily
• Wears personal protective equipment as required
• Performs physical demands satisfactorily
• Performs duties to ensure safety of self and those in department
• Obtains work assignments and performs satisfactorily
• Reports machine malfunctions, production errors, and quality issues to Supervisor
• Minor machine set up, maintenance and repair duties
• Assembly of component parts
• Weighs and measures finished product or parts to complete work order
• Keeps work area neat and clean

Entry Level Machine Operator Qualifications

• To qualify for this position you must meet the minimum age requirements for working in a hazardous position and be eligible to work in the U.S.
• You must have attention to detail and be capable of regularly lifting up to 35 pounds.
