RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides support for the proper use and maximization of effective and efficient use of the electronic medical record through training, support, and coordination of supportive services.

DUTIES:

Train and assist on a continual basis provider, laboratory, registration, social services, billing, nutrition, health educators, and medical assistants and other staff and consultants to properly use the eCW EMR.

Troubleshoot any problems incapturing and reporting of data, as well as the delivery of such data.

Consult with IT whenever there appears to be any hardware, software, or global problems with the use of the EMR.

Consult with eCW whenever the EMR appears to malfunction or not be used to peak benefit.

Assist in analyzing health indicator outcome data through searches of EMR database.

Monitor, evaluate, and advise on the creation of templates, and determine impact the new template may have on the current EMR use.

Stay up to date on any new developments eCW may have and evaluate the impact on the current EMR.

Monitor the proper use of the EMR, and alert appropriate staff when the EMR is improperly used.

Notify IT when interfaces are not functioning properly.

Ensure data integrity in primary EMR systems by formalizing data entry and recovery processes.

Customize EMR data entry areas for users and systems by using templates, mappings, and process planning.

Responsible for running and analyzing all reports from EBO, registry in ECW require for billing, financial, clinical, and operational use by weekly, monthly, or as required.

Ability to run other database (AZARA/CPCI/DRVS) for comparison of data with other reports run in ECW or EBO

Perform other functions necessary for the proper functioning of the East Harlem Council for Human Services, Inc./Boriken Neighborhood Health Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Business or Medical Informatics

EMR Certified preferred

Three (3) year experience in electronic medical records.

EClinicalWorks experienced and trained, super-user preferred.

Knowledge of clinical regulatory requirements, population management, and value-based payment systems.

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
