Electrical Controls Designer Job at Superior Skilled Trades
DIRECT HIRE!!! We have an amazing opportunity for a Electrical Controls Designer that likes a challenge and is seeking a long-term position.
- PAY: $65K-$90K (based upon experience)
- HOURS: Shift will be M-F, 8 hours each day, on-call
- START DATE: ASAP
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics for UL and CE industrial control panels using Bentley Promise software based on mechanical design spec or motor and device list
- Oversee the manufacturing of control panels
- Troubleshoot machinery operations and control circuits
- Resolve wiring issues with Service Techs
- Use SAP to reference components and create new SAP part numbers and descriptions
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Electrical Design or Electrical Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
- 3+ Years of Industrial Electricity/Automation Experience
- Proficient in Industrial Controls and Computer-Aided Design/Drafting
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Familiarity with Bentley Promise and UL and CE compliant design preferred
- Knowledge of 24VDC control/safety circuits thru 575VAC 3PH power circuits
Additional Requirements:
- US Citizenship or Green Card
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
